Tóm tắt

Mục tiêu nghiên cứu: Bài báo kiểm định liệu có tồn tại ngưỡng can thiệp của toàn cầu hoá tài chính trong mối quan hệ giữa bất định chính sách (WUI) và dòng vốn đầu tư trực tiếp nước ngoài (FDI).

Thiết kế nghiên cứu/phương pháp/tiếp cận: Với mẫu nghiên cứu toàn cầu trên 138 quốc gia trong giai đoạn 2000–2023, bài viết sử dụng hồi quy hiệu ứng cố định nhiều chiều (HDFE) để hấp thụ các yếu tố không quan sát được. Từ đó, nghiên cứu xây dựng phương trình tác động biên nhằm xác định liệu mối quan hệ WUI - FDI có xu hướng gia tăng, suy giảm, hay đảo chiều khi toàn cầu hoá tài chính tăng lên. Để đồng thời giải quyết hiện tượng nội sinh và phi tuyến tính, nghiên cứu kiểm tra tính vững bằng hồi quy ngưỡng bảng động.

Kết quả nghiên cứu chính: Toàn cầu hóa tài chính theo thực tế thể hiện vai trò điều tiết, với ngưỡng can thiệp theo hướng ức chế, giúp làm dịu tác động bất lợi của WUI lên dòng vốn FDI. Tuy nhiên, toàn cầu hóa tài chính theo luật định lại không được tìm thấy có vai trò can thiệp. Kết quả này đã được khẳng định về độ tin cậy khi thay thế ước lượng bằng mô hình ngưỡng bảng động.

Giá trị đóng góp mới: Nghiên cứu này đóng góp về mặt thực nghiệm khi chỉ ra tính không đồng nhất trong cơ chế can thiệp của toàn cầu hoá tài chính theo thực tế và luật định trong mối quan hệ giữa WUI và FDI.
